In 2010, I was fresh out of college and working as a digital marketing assistant. It was a great entry-level job, but I quickly realized that I wanted to be in control of my own projects and clients. I knew I could do great work if given the chance, so I set out to find freelance digital marketing projects.

The first step was to brush up on my digital marketing skills. I read industry news and articles, took online courses, and learned as much as I could. I also started networking with other marketing professionals.

Next, I created a portfolio of my work to showcase my skills and highlight my successes. I also wrote a strong cover letter and resume, and made sure to list my digital marketing skills prominently.

Then, I went out and found clients. I looked for companies that were in need of digital marketing help, and reached out to them directly. I was also proactive in seeking out new projects on job boards and freelancing websites.
